Deep vs standard cleaning: what is the difference

Standard cleaning is maintenance mode. We remove visible dust and dirt: wipe surfaces, mop floors, clean bathroom and kitchen in a working scope, take out trash. Best when the home is already tidy and you need a refresh every one or two weeks.

Deep cleaning goes further and takes longer. It adds areas standard does not cover: inside microwave and oven (if booked), kitchen cabinet fronts, skirting boards, cornices, door frames, more thorough plumbing and tile work.

Timing: a one-room standard clean takes about 2–3 hours; deep cleaning 4–6 or more depending on rooms. If it has been a long time since a deep clean, standard will not catch up — start with deep, then maintain with standard.

All-inclusive is deep cleaning plus popular add-ons in one price: windows, curtains, appliances. Handy before holidays, after a long absence, or before handing over the apartment.
